No. HealthWell is an educational tool that suggests what your symptoms might indicate. It can be wrong and is not a substitute for a professional assessment. Always consult a qualified clinician about your health.
What should I do in an emergency?
If you have severe or sudden symptoms — such as crushing chest pain, difficulty breathing, signs of a stroke (face drooping, arm weakness, slurred speech), or a sudden "worst-ever" headache — call your local emergency number immediately. Don't wait for this tool.
Is my data private?
Yes. Everything runs in your browser. Your answers are not uploaded or stored on a server — they stay on your device and disappear when you start over or close the page.
How does it decide what to show?
Your answers are matched against a curated set of common conditions using transparent rules. Certain "red-flag" answers trigger an urgent or emergency warning. Results are ranked by how well they match — and always paired with suggested tests a clinician could use to confirm.
Does it use AI?
Not yet. Today it uses a rule-based engine so its logic is predictable and safe. A future update will add optional AI assistance to explain results in plain language and help double-check them.
